Loose Leash Walking Workshop
Content: It's wonderful to have a dog that walks nicely on leash without pulling, lunging or weaving. This is not as difficult to achieve as you may think. It does take practice, consistency and patience to master. It also requires a great relationship between you and your dog. Learn techniques that will help you get the results you’re looking for and strengthen the bond between you and your dog in the process.
The workshop will feature a combination of instruction and practice exercises that are tailored to each participant's level of skill. The positive reinforcement techniques will teach your dog how to walk politely on a leash. Dogs pull on leashes because of excitement, lack of exercise or simply just because we follow. Handlers will learn all about the important factors to having a dog who walks nicely on leash. Dogs will practice paying attention to their owners and walking nicely on leash despite interesting distractions.

Prerequisites: Dogs must be age-appropriately vaccinated; Dogs must be healthy including being free from internal and external parasites (including fleas, ticks, worms, etc).
